what does this have to do with anything? The Independent schedules Miami played in the 80s(and especially ND or Army in the 40s) were much tougher. And all including 90s NU and 50s OU simply have more impressive records.

The run Nebraska had in the 90s lasted from 1993-97. They had another good year in '99 before they started to steadily fall off the face of the earth. It was a good run but hardly sustained over a long period of time.

Oklahoma's run is impressive but not as impressive as some of the more modern dynasties simply due to the fact that it was done in an era of one platoon football and segregation.
