Consider this, it's possible that for Alabama or Auburn to win it this year, they'll play four consecutive top 5 matchups, maybe needing to win all.

The run Nebraska had in the 90s lasted from 1993-97. They had another good year in '99 before they started to steadily fall off the face of the earth. It was a good run but hardly sustained over a long period of time.
Oklahoma's run is impressive but not as impressive as some of the more modern dynasties simply due to the fact that it was done in an era of one platoon football and segregation.
