man, you try so hard to be a good poster, but you let your Bama hate get in the way of most rational thoughts towards Bama. Not flaming you, just maybe giving you some advice to be a better poster. At least your trying bud.

We're going to be preseaon number one, but we should just say "oh well, our run is over."

What? You lose 9 players on ONE side of the ball and think championship or bust?
Talk about delusional. Winning the west should make you all ecstatic. Not to mention your losses on special teams as well.
I didn't say anything about a championship but I do think we'll win the West and head back to the SECCG even though it won't be easy

If we make it to the SECCG we will win. Who in the East will beat Bama next year? No fricking body.

Just like Alabama was going to crush Florida in 2008? Oh wait...
Saban and Meyer are 1-1 vs each other in the SECCG Bammers. It was just one game last year.

"mcelroy - about the same"
Good, seccg mvp 2 years in a row will be nice
"receivers - the same"
Ill be happy with that as well
"running backs - a bit better"
best backfield in the fricking nation
"oline - not as good"
Seems like I heard that before last season, but it didn't happen.

I honestly tried not to flame. I even refrained from calling the jackass that disagreed with me a dumbass goatfricking gump.
I think I am showing signs of improvement and tolerance.

Many don't realize that those replacing the starters on defense from last season will be much more athletic than the players leaving. Especially on the defensive front. We lose the defensive leader and replace him with Hightower. I see little drop off there.
I think the secondary will be fine. Dr. Dre is what you want at corner. Scott has potential to be a shutdown corner, plus the fact that he got a chance to redshirt last year and learn the system. Same goes for Phelon Jones. Mark Barron is a stud, and will be the leader in the secondary.
I say we have a good chance of repeating, but there are too many other things that factor into a championship winning season.

It's going to be amusing to watch some of these Bama posters when the sky starts falling when bama doesn't make the title game.
Just fyi, UF returned a heck of a lot more in 2009 than Bama does this year, and they struggled all year.
People need to remember, in CFB, every year is different.

Sort of like Florida fans did when they lost this year?

No one is going to melt down over going 10-2 or 11-1, and get to a BCS bowl. We just think that getting back to the title game is possible. We'll open the season number one, so we should think it's possible.

No matter what some of the more delusional, bandwagon, and entitled Gator fans were saying at the beginning of the season, not everyone thought that a repeat was a sure thing.
But still, hard to argue with 3 out of the last 4 years winning 13 games and 2 national titles.
I'm not complaining.

Just you wait. You think that now. But after Alabama gets out to maybe 4-0 or 5-0, expectations will change.
Then the losses will start coming as the schedule gets tougher with all of those byes and the complaints will begin.
