I like Hurts, but in my view Bryant is better.

It would be good for the other SEC teams if Clemson wins. Helps to reduce the Bama mystique in the minds of recruits.

I miss the old competitive SEC.

I looked at Hurts stats 2nd half of season when Bama's schedule got tougher, and I didn't see much there.

Clemson has more WRs and spreads the ball out better than Bama which is mostly about Ridley in the passing game.

Keep in mind Bryant hasn't been running much the 2nd half of the season since he sprained his ankle and I think we are going to see a lot more of that against Bama.

A lot of the games this year, the coaches were conservative on offense because the defense has the other team under control.

I think Bryant would have had over 400 yards on Miami if he played the entire game.

Hurts is a gamer. He's no schmuck. Underestimate him at your own peril, young tiger paw boys. He was winning the game against you in the NC less than a year ago, before the illegal pick play.

I haven't underestimated him at all, Alabama fan boy.

In fact, I said it wasn't his fault they lost last year...that was on the defense. He is def. capable of making plays against Clemson.

Nobody but Bama and SEC homers think that last play was illegal. lol Renfrow was wide open b/c he wasn't covered.

LINK

That contact had nothing to do with Renfrow being open.

LINK

If that is an illegal play, might as well cancel football. lol Bama has two targetings on Clemson in the game that were not called.

Clemson ran 99 offensive plays in last year’s championship game and was not called for a single infraction.

Well, except the refs are throwing a flag every time that play is run.........

No need to cuss, however you are right.
Clemson without Watson has no chance. If Bryant goes down, or is hobbled, Clemson could not even beat Syracuse.

Bama wins by 21........

Sorry CU bandwagon fans, you forget who is on the Alabama sidelines........

Everything points to Bama winning in a big way. Don’t think so? Take Clemson and the points.

That is just blatantly false.

You compared Alabama to South Carolina.

I did not.

I said Alabama is the most talented team, top to bottom. In the whole country.

I said SC is a decent team.

You, somehow, make a dreamworld opinion that I equivilated (it's a word, I just invented it) Bama to SC.

You are a true gimp.

Not a garden variety gimp, but a true gimp.

I'm not as confident as I'd like to be. Clemson's defensive front is very good. It will be difficult to move the ball on them. Kelly Bryant also did a very good job against an aggressive Miami defense. We will need to have a better game and game plan than we did at Auburn to pull this one off. I do, however, think the team will have something to prove and will play with a lot of energy.

The refs don't throw a flag every time its run. Teams run it all the time and a flag could have actually been thrown on one of the Alabama defenders.
