Alabama vs LSU is now the biggest and best rivalry in the SEC

I know some of my fellow Bama fans will go off on this (I don't understand why, unless it's to get under LSU fans' skin by refusing to acknowledge this game's importance).
This is every bit as big, if not bigger, than the Florida/Tennessee rivalry in the 90's. This game is huge, and it's huge every single year. Both teams look toward this game on their schedule more than any other EVERY YEAR now. It is the best rivalry in the SEC at the moment and arguably the best in the nation right now.
I love this game, and if you really love and understand college football, you should too.

It's monumentally important and has been since about 2008. But I don't consider LSU on the same rivalry level as Tennessee or Auburn. It's just a mater of personal preference and I don't find fault in people's opinions that think differently.

Eh, our current GOAT coach making them relevant is the only reason it's now a rivalry. Before that it was not a competitive series. The game just matters more. Even still, we're going for five in a row.
I mean, yeah, they really hate us but it's not mutual and it comes from our domination of them. It's like a small dog yapping at a lion on tv. You just gotta pat them on the head and say good boy, you tell that mean lion.
Bama-Florida of the 90s and late 00s was better in just about every aspect. I'm ready for that to become THE GAME in the SEC again, like it should be

It is definitely my favorite "no horse in the race" game to watch every year; this year being no exception- should be an awesome one.

I judge it by the intensity surrounding the game and am not buying a bill of goods. Just because Bear Bryant didn't like TN doesn't mean the fan base views them same.

Bama and Florida are the two games on the schedule every year most LSU fans look forward to the most. Anyone telling you different is lying.

I think if you polled LSU fans which game do they most want to win it would have been bama at the beginning of the year so sure why not call it a rivalry. In any case it is the best most physical game of the year every year. Look forward to seeing it.
