and how many years does Saban have to lose before Gumps will quit saying "he's losing with Shula's players."
not very many of shulas players are playing anymore and next year will be with les miles players! 19 of the 22 starters from the NC game were recruited by CNS! does that answer your question?
how many years does Miles have to win before Gumps will quit saying "he's winning with Saban's players"

Evidently,Gene Stallings won the 1992 NC with Bill Curry's players.

Curry left in 89' and majority of the defense(which won the 92' NC) were not seniors so those were not Curry's players!

Wow. Saban really is amazing. He recruited Arenas to Alabama even though he was still with the Dolphins ?

You're sadly mistaken if you don't think there are no good Shula players on Saban's roster and Miles' players made no contributions to the team last year.

You can only praise Saban and curse Shula for so long.....

I don't think Saban or Mt. Cody would let something like that happen.

Oh wow, I guess I should have checked that first huh? I really thought that Arenas was in Saban's first class.

But yeah, I remember him returning the punt for a TD in the game Kines coached.

Mea culpa....

I think MT. CODY or the 1-man defensive line as he is called! could hold up all of Samford Stadium and Hedges if he wanted to!

I am glad he did indeed complete his college education. That's even more impressive considering he was one of 3 players off the 1992 defense that was drafted in the first round of the 1993 NFL draft.

He was also the reason for probation number 1 because he hired an agent.

Arenas

I don't know how many folks remember when Shula picked him up, but he wasn't even listed on any recruiting sights and was given a 3 star immediately. There was alot of hell being thrown Bama's way about signing a nobody. I have to admit Shula got a gem with him.
