Itawamba, My geography is sketchy for Northwest Alabama but from looking at the insane radar signature of the Smithfield, MS (one of the most classic tornado signatures on radar) I wonder if that was the super cell that totally devastated Phil Campell, AL. I think that storm was at least an EF4 in and of itself

It is just weird seeing that tornado without it being rain wrapped.

Thanks man, like I said we got out easy. Couple days of chainsawing and loading wood and I'll be golden. So sorry for those not so fortunate. Went and gave blood tonight. Gonna go try and buy some generators in the morning for some friends.

Thanks for the update. I thought there'd be more in Cullman as hard as it got hit all day and night.

read through a few pages of this, and it's good to see most/if not all of our SECr crew is accounted for.

I lived over behind Milos on 13th street and our house is absolutely demolished. Frankly just can't tell you how lucky I was to be scheduled to work, because if I was off, I would have been at that house. Will post pics in the next day or two when I can get back over here to buddys house in Northport where it doesn't look like Bosnia.

You guys keep safe..this is by far the most surreal experience I've ever had. I'm just so fricking glad to be alive. Will have to figure out the living situation and loss of basically everything due to the storm, but I'm just glad to be able to post on TD and drink this cold beer.

Don't take shite for granted, I damn sure won't anymore.
