Just talk to Crimson Crazy, he is ok. His town has been declared a state of emergency due to the power plant there.

They got in touch with their sister. She is fine just really shook up.

We aren't heading down there. I think there will be a curfew put it place pretty soon.

This is going to sound really insensitive, but that area of Tuscaloosa involves several groups of people I know pretty well; college students and several kids that I teach/coach.

I'm already seeing posts on facebook about tornado parties and the such. It's going to be a long night for law enforcement.

so sad to hear. I'm afraid the count is going to be higher before it's all said and done.

i was watching the thing on TWC when the mayor was on. that was the toll before ttown, that person has it confused. there are not 32 confirmed dead in ttown. that is from all the storms across the south.

Major gas leaks reported in N. Bham with some fires. City requesting all off-duty fire and police personnel to report.

Didn't the state of Alabama have some bad tornadoes a 4-5 years ago (mainly in the Birmingham area)?

Yeah part of the state is nicknamed tornado alley. I think it was Enterprise AL that got hit hard. They were taking up donations for it at the 07 spring game. Someone else probably knows more about it than me though.
