The University of Arkansas has put something together for our own in state victims of a tornado (Viliona,AR) as well as for Tuscaloosa. Here's the article on it

Just got word that the kids will not have to make up the missed days of school and it won't affect their funding.
It's a small thing, but after losing every spring holiday because of all the winter snow days, it certainly is a nice little piece of news.

Hey 1987,
Being in the Transit Authority, just interested in what your plan was if that thing turned towards you?

The parking deck was made of brick and concrete which holds up well against EF-4/EF-5 tornadoes (concrete moreso than brick). Had it turned toward me I would have ducked into the concrete stairwell which was just five or six feet away from were I was standing.

I think what he is saying is that he can't talk about an ongoing investigation.

Not seriously, no. And I can't get into until I'm cleared by my agency.

So I just got a phone call from my dad. He said that they received a phone call yesterday afternoon from a man in Gadsden. He said that he found their house plans in his front yard after the tornado ripped through Tuscaloosa. Their house is 32 years old and they don't know where the builders had stored the plans, but obviously wherever that was, it was demolished. The man told them that he had mailed the plans to them. I told him to call me when they get there and I will ride over from my house and check 'em out.
