I have a feeling it was going to be a new design of a past uni to begin with
My buddy says that he guarantees it that it won't be a drastic change from the way they look now.

didn't say it would be drastic....just said it would be a new design off an older uni. I expect yall to have one of the toned down jerseys....nothing wild like TCU, FSU, or Oregon.

oh yeah i know you didn't say it would be drastic. i was just reaffirming what you said that it would probably be a slight spin on an older uni.

I am also curious as to why you guys would wear the pro combat jersey in the title game but not the pants....
now that one i definitely don't know. i didn't know until last night that we wore the jerseys. i knew that they looked slightly different but just figured that they were probably new and besides i don't really pay that much attention to the look of the uniform. when you get used to seeing pretty much the same uniform for 31 years you don't really notice much difference (at least i haven't

Maybe the material was different, but outside of the patches, I don't see a difference. (Sorry for the pic size, but figured it'd be easier to study the jersey better?

Also.. I like the wallpaper you did, but that is perfect picture size too, could you put the schedule dates on that and see how it looks?

I can definitely do that. I don't have my laptop with me at work right now and can't go get it from the house cause my truck is getting the 60,000 mile maintenance done at Tuscaloosa Toyota but I'll work on some different variations and see what we can get going. The one I posted in a thread a couple weeks ago was one I just threw together while learning the new Photoshop CS4.
Shoot me an email at Rolltidemj@gmail.com and include some other pictures you might would want to use for wallpapers and I'll try and work on them at the house when I'm doing anything. Also lemme know what screen size you are using.

I don't get the obsession with uniforms.

I really hope we have white helmets. I think a sleek throw back uniform would be perfect.

Like I stated earlier, don't expect a drastic or off the wall change to the look.

The University of Alabama will be among 10 schools to wear a Nike Pro Combat football uniform for at least one game this fall, although the Crimson Tide’s traditional uniform look will not be subject to the more radical style changes that Nike Pro Combat uniforms have manifested at other schools, according to a source close to the situation.

The appearance of the Nike Pro Combat Alabama uniform will remain largely unchanged, with a slight stylistic variation within the traditional look, and the color scheme will remain the same, according to the source.

Alabama’s use of the Pro Combat uniform for a 2010 game was a part of that agreement, but the university maintained a right of approval on style changes.
