Again no. Vacated, not forfeited.

I'm almost positive you are corect!

If Bubba is in his Underwater Basket Weaving 1022 class and four of Bubba's friends (not on scholarship) needed the $125 book, I'm sure Bubba provided books to them out of the goodness of his heart.

That doesn't fly around here, Grad!
I'm not with the NCAA.

That's a shame. We could have had a winning season in 2005

If you think about it, the NCAA is kind of like Hans Blix and Alabama is Kim Jong-Il from Team America.

"You'd better not do anything else out of line, Alabama, or else."

"Or else what?"

"Or else...we will be very very angry with you. And we will write you a letter, telling you how angry we are."

This decade:

East (vs. West) 85-86
West (vs. East) 81-85

Both divisions have losing records.

This got a sticky???

Just proves my hypothesis that pretty much all of the SEC is obsessed with Bama, except Florida and Georgia, they lick each others arse cracks.

I received a sticky otherwise there would be 50 different posts on it.

This penalty is absolutely ridiculous.

Being a multiple offender they should have steeper sanctions but this proves the NCAA is clueless.

+1

The NCAA slapping Alabama on the wrist is such a common occurence that no sticky was deserved here IMO.

Nah, it's pretty much Auburn, LSU, and Tennessee fans.

And seeing how on this board, those fans are quite numerous, it gives off the illusion that everyone is obsessed.

Gotta love the couple of Bama dumbasses in this thread who seem to believe that they we (LSU, Auburn) are struggling to keep up with them.....hey, smartguys, you had 1 nice season sans any hardware. We had 5+ years of beating your "pathetic asses". If any thing, you are the ones holding on for dear life and we all know about Mr. Nick's encore years.......get ready.

I dont really think they should lose schollies, or TV time, or bowl games. It wasnt THAT serious in my opinion.

However, someone on the radio made a good suggestion...since so many sports were involved...and since the NCAA wont do anything about this..the SEC should. The suggestion was to make Bama return the $13 million plus they received recently at the SEC meetings....all that money that gets divided among the teams. The SEC should take it back. I dont care if they divide it and give it to the other 11 teams. I dont care what they do with the money...just take it back. They are REPEAT offenders and this happened while on probation. SOMETHING more has to be done than what the NCAA did..which is essentially nothing.

Do the other teams get to change their records, or is it just like the game never happened?

I feel bad for Prothro. He can't vacate that terrible injury in the 06 victory over UF.

Maybe? But can you imagine what those programs that are constant repeat offenders would be like without NCAA lurking around the corner, supposedly monitoring the situations. It would be complete caos.
