For the first half, the alumni band sat in with the Tiger band. They sounded really good together. Volume was better, obviously with more band members.

I only made note of the horrible trap music before the game, during warmups, with the indecipherable mumbled lyrics.

So, for the last 30+ years if you’re in the right lane traveling north when passing under the new bridge on River Road, you were directed to Nicholson/St. Louis north, then moving to the right lane, quickly, to make the loop onto the I-10 ramp to the bridge.

However, last night, at the light between the Brick Yard and 13th Gate I was directed to turn left and travel back north to River Road, ultimately to I-110 and the old bridge.

My question is, is this something new, or what? This added 20 to 30 minutes to my drive home.
Pretty much sums up our OC’s lack of imagination and ineptitude.
Worked the night shift, logged into the desktop to check fantasy football scores from MNF. Saw where first tower was hit by plane. Turned on TV in bedroom to help me get to sleep when second tower was hit.
Stayed up all day watching news.

I was no good at work that night.

It appeared to me on that read play where he ran for a first down, had he handed the ball to Durham, there was no one between him and the goal line.

Of course you’re correct, I shouldn’t have an opinion because of my faith.

I believe it is, “God Is” by Kanye West.

Omaha attendees question

I did not hear any lyrics during Curiel’s walk up song during the championship series. Did I miss-hear?

Or, do you think the section of the song that included, “Praise the Lord” was intentionally not played because of its religious lyrics?

Great trip, great games and great team!

re: Replacing appliances…

My ‘99 Kenmore quit working around Christmas. Tried to fix it, but the first part I replaced (defrost timer) was not the culprit. So, I bought a new one. Went with a no bells and whistles type. No ice or water through the door, etc.
Long story short, figured out the problem with the old Kenmore (thermostat) replaced it and it’s going strong as my backup fridge.
Mine quit awhile back. Changed the defrost timer ($15 on Amazon) because it seemed to go into defrost mode and then not restart. Once I replaced that, it was doing the same thing, but I noticed when I bumped the control panel area with my fist, it would restart, but eventually stop again later.
So, I ordered a $10 thermostat off of amazon and replaced it. Been working fine for the last few months.
Mine is a 1999 model Kenmore with the thermostat and air blend controls at the top of the refrigerator compartment.
Good luck.

The Kenmore I bought new in ‘99 quit cooling a few weeks ago. Had to order its replacement, so in the meantime, I monkeyed with trying to fix it. Ordered an $11 thermostat and got it going again.

I bought an LG (without the through the door ice dispenser) to replace this tough old dinosaur.
It has a filtered water dispenser inside the door. Good, so far.

re: Help with buying a zero turn

I bought a Kubota Kommander series 48” zero turn eight years ago. Other than minor issues with sensors, mostly safety features, it has been a fine machine. Regular maintenance always performed and belts and blades changed as needed, of course.
I suggested this earlier as well.

Mine is a two stroke and would pee, but the temperature alarm would sound when it overheated. Upon further inspection, debris from the old impeller was partially blocking the intake port and not allowing enough water to get to the impeller.
Had the same issue after I changed mine a few years back. Check the water intake side screens or ports on the lower unit. My old impeller had some parts that had broken off and those pieces were keeping it from getting enough water to cool the engine.
Go see a dermatologist. They can prescribe some keto shampoo and a minoxidil compound solution.
I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder a couple of years ago. Lived with it for about 18 months before it was diagnosed. Can’t point to any incident that would’ve caused the injury.

My MRI showed a small rotator cuff tear, but not severe enough to require surgery and lots of scar tissue which was causing the “freeze.” The ortho doctor suggested a shoulder manipulation. You’re sedated and have a nerve block on your arm and the doctor breaks the joint loose to free it from the scar tissue.

Had extensive therapy following the procedure and I’m able to lift it now with no pain. Don’t have the range of motion I had when I was 20, but who does?
You can check for corroded battery leads too. Not making good contact or intermittent contact.
Polishing them up with a wire brush after the boat sits for awhile is something I have had to do.

To the best of my knowledge, they are just as they were before it stopped working properly. I took
pictures of the wiring placement and put it all back like it was. I even deleted and reloaded the thermostat in the app.

New board is supposed to arrive tomorrow, fingers crossed it works.

Thanks for replying!

I tried what the video showed to do but the fan would not come on, so I’m sticking with the bad circuit board.

Thanks
I’ll try this tomorrow.

I have a smart thermostat, but I can take the faceplate off and jump the wires.

Yes, this one has a legend on the inside of the door, but the light stays on continuously. No blinks.
