UA & UT have won 42 conference titles since they began playing fwiw. They are the 2 greatest football programs the SEC has to offer.

I love traditional rivalries. but at the same time, I'm getting tired of chest-thumping about the past. 2nd most SEC titles this, 2nd most wins all time that.
and I understand the ridicule and disrespect from other fans. 10 years of near-misses and mediocrity will do that to a program. but winning cures everything. time to win on the field, and carry the winning tradition.

Didn't he say that during the 1980 game ? I like tradition as much ,if not more than most.But that game has really lost its starch over the years.

this year has made for some strange alliances on the rant. The Alabama-LSU "you're great, no you're great" shite and now Alabama and Tennessee fans patting each other on the back.
I personally want Tennessee to get better but only for the sake of the rivalry. Last year was the most boring blowout win in Knoxville ever. There was a time when that would have been as good as an Iron Bowl win.
The two teams just can't seem to be good at the same time anymore. It sucks, although I still can't help but enjoy watching Tennessee lose.
