I hope it turns out to be a good reason for it and not a case of him being wishy washy. Although the "good" reason doesn't really sound good in terms of his life.
If it is a case of him being wishy washy, I stand by my original comment. I have no love for drama queens and tons of love for the players who buy in and do it right. All fan love is conditional.
If it's a case of family stuff as someone else commented, then my apologies to him not only for what I said, but also because that's actually worse for him and don't even want to imagine having to go through the same thing.

That’s odd, given that the second summer session will be wrapping up or already wrapped up when camp starts. So no one at Alabama - students or student-athletes - will be attending classes.

This is actually a big loss for Alabama and will hurt. He would have been a big contributor this year.
Of course, even if he had been the water boy you'd still make the same exact post. As we saw with the TE who recently transferred.

He certainly has the talent. But his odds have decreased quite a bit it seems.
