NIL-related features: a digital ticker announcing the latest news in athlete deals; a studio with a green screen to provide athletes a place to shoot NIL-related videos; a wall dedicated to Alabama player NIL deals and opportunities; and meeting space to possibly help facilitate brand-and-athlete relationships.
This is beyond stupid. College football is on a fast pace to death.

Everyone wants to be like the 2nd best team in the SEC West

“Come shoot your shitty music videos with our green screen, grow your personal brand instead of being with your team, and do some other dumb nonsense instead of focusing on your sport.”
Absolutely brilliant imho.

NIL is nothing more than colleges attempting to run a minor league sports system through their universities for the money. They were about to lose control of it and had to start giving people over the age of 18 more control of their finances.

That’s a coach and a recruit taking pictures/videos.
Been going on for decades.
This “project” is A1abana begging current athletes to focus on things other than sports like filming shite videos for their “Tik-Chat Story”
- it’s quite literally a distraction hub.
I wonder how many “music careers” will be started with that studio and their NIL money?

Nick Sabah: “O-o-Ok, can y-y-you make it t-tomorrow?”
The Player Formally Known As Jalen Milroes: “No bitch, I’m filming a Snap Tok tomorrow”
Nick Sabah: *pisses pants*

Hey numb nuts, Alabama didn't have a single player holdout from the Sugar Bowl, and that's with two top five picks on the field. Alabama is the standard everyone else looks up to.

What a waste of money. Now everybody will have to build one of these fuc king things. Next move will be football recruits having the option to enroll for classes, free ride either way.

The following comments have nothing to do with Bama. They are focused on the transformation of college sports from amateurism to professionalism.
Learfield is provided swank offices on the campus of UA and direct access to the athletes 24*7 to act as their agent for commercials, etc. in other words, a satellite office. Is that what’s going on here?
Sports agents have had access to Bama players for years, but I’m not clear on what the joint venture is and would think it could have implications to the nonprofit status of the athletic department. They should consider providing a similar satellite office arrangement for a financial planning firm complete with CPAs to help with tax planning.
I truly don’t understand what this arrangement is, but am intrigued. Learfield seems to be innovative in their alignment to schools and wonder how many other schools will soon announce similar arrangements; i.e. Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, USC, et al.
I’d love someone to provide an accurate business case synopsis.

It sucks for college football that it's becoming this. What will happen is one day I'll have had enough and I'll just quit watching the same as I did with Nascar.
