We, here at the Ole War Skule, founded by Wiliam T. Sherman, disagree with your sentiment. We can understand it to a large degree due to our record against them, but they are first and foremost a founding member of the SEC. I'd keep that in mind if I were Arky, SC, Mizzou, A&M, TX, or OU. Even the lowly Vandy has seniority over any of the newcomers.

Sometimes I wish Bama would go independent like ND and really make the money. Schedule teams like ND, Michigan, USC, Texas, Georgia, LSU etc all as independents.
The money would be insane. But we won’t. We”ll keep subsidizing teams like Arkansas and Vandy.
