But this is a tradition for BOTH schools. Not really sure why the hell Bama would deny this?

Even if they don't care for the tradition, what the frick does it matter? Just trying to get under our skin?

No heartbreak, just a bummer.

Not really sure what the UA program has against the idea other than the fact that half the state still watches tv on black n' white television sets. (kidding)

Why did Tennessee deny Auburn the right to have a Tiger Walk?

they just wouldn't let their band and cheerleaders be apart of it, there really isn't much room where the away team enters.

There has always been a gentleman's agreement in the SEC that the home team could wear whatever jersey they wanted. No lose of TO if the other team agrees. I think a couple of times in history teams have pulled some BS but for the most part it has held up.

Does LSU have to request to wear white jerseys for home games?

I thought the home team could do whatever the hell it wanted. Maybe even come out in pink for breast cancer awareness?

It was a long held tradition that Bama/UT wore home jerseys on the Third Saturday in October until 1969, when it was ruled that black n white tv's couldnt tell the difference. Apparently, folks at Alabama arent fans of renewing the tradition.

Maybe Bammers still only have black n white televisions in their trailers.

I don't think they have. I believe the home team is able to choose between "home" or "away" without a penalty. The TO loss comes if the visiting team wants to wear the same as the home team without the home team approval.

Where you might see LSU burn a TO would be if say next year Auburn wanted to wear white in JHS and LSU didn't want to be forced to wear the dark unis. Not sure how well that would fly though since two teams in white could get confusing for the QBs.

Typical Kiffin, anything to draw attention away from the real issue.

I seriously doubt this was Kiffin's idea at all.
