Actually, nearly every summer in the Saban era, rival fans were trolling Alabama fans about the lackluster recruiting effort, then in the last couple of months Saban would pick and choose who he most wanted.
I swear people just conveniently forget stuff like this. What was it two years ago that Alabama was behind West Virginia in the Summer and then finished with the #1 class.......ITS JUNE!

In the meantime, it’s hilarious seeing you insecure bitches creating new threads on this board every time Bama gets a commitment.
Can we please get some clarification on when we want to talk about Bama recruiting on this board? It was all the rage a few months ago

It's hilarious to watch you and the rest of your crew begin to crawfish and move those goal posts every other day. Bama fans are enjoying it, and will continue to enjoy it for quite some time because bama isn't going anywhere. You continue that wishful thinking and we'll see you come this fall.

Unfortunately, Alabama isn’t going anywhere. Alabama will always be one of the best teams in our conference.
History can be a bitch. The tone of this place from the moment Coach Saban retired to this day is enough to confuse the plot of Psycho. Split personalities notwithstanding, BAMA is gonna BAMA and opposing fans will be adjusting far more than Crimson Tiders.
ROLL TIDE Y'ALL!!!!!!

Also, no one has any five stars signed in their 2025 class.
Tennessee may not have one signed, but they sure do have 1 committed and working on a couple more.

This is true.
My only point is that when looking at recruiting rankings... in June... it's better to look at the average player ranking rather than the total ranking.
The reason is the number of recruits has a huge impact on the total ranking at this time of year.
Last year Bama had 6 commits at the beginning of June. They weren't ranked particularly high because of that low number. But their average was the best in the country at that point because they had 2 5-stars and 4 4-stars. That average was much more reflective of their class than the total ranking was.
This year their per player average (not including their kicker) is 6th in the nation. They're ranked higher in the total rankings because they have a high number of recruits as opposed to last year when they had a low number. But the per player average is likely going to be closer to where they end up than their current total ranking.
Bama is more likely to be 6th or 7th than they are to be 2nd or 3rd this year. On the flip side UGA who's in 6th in the overal rankings is likely to end up in the top 3. Their average right now is 3rd in the nation. They just have 13 commits rather than 17 at the moment.

Seems like Alabama is recruiting very well to me but I don't really follow it closely tbh.

I heard today, according to On3, Bama football doesn’t have a 5 star committed in the 25 class. This is difficult for me to believe.
OP can relax now.

Bama was recruiting very well at the beginning of the month. They were looking like they would end up with a class in the 5-10 range.
But they've absolutely been hitting on all cylinders at the end of the month of June. They've pulled in several highly ranked recruits. Now they're looking at a likely top 3 class, which is what I would call the "elite range".
Deboer already answered the question on if he'd be a "good" recruiter before June started. Now he's looking like he might end up being an excellent recruiter.

For Bama, extremely good. They blew it up in June. I had said they needed to be nearly perfect in landing their targets and they have been.

Any updates OP? Surely things have taken a turn for the worse since you started this thread less than a month ago.
