You didn’t get it. He was referring to the numerous people in Lafayette (which is 50 Miles from LSU) who bandwagon on Alabama because they hate LSU THAT much. They know nothing about Alabama. They’ve never been there. They can’t name one player. They just hate LSU and Alabama beats LSU.

I think they get a lot of "breaks" other teams don't, but I don't see a particularly weak schedule being one of them. Lafayette? Yeah. Citadel? Yeah. Arkansas State? I guess so.
But the rest? Louisville in retrospect looks a little fluffy and having the Vols as your go to East "rival" has been easy sledding for a while and looks to continue that way a while longer. So let's score that 5 on the weakness meter for Alabama, Arkansas State, ULL, Citadel, Louisville and Tennessee.
LSU played Southeastern and Tech and has Rice down the road. Miami isn't looking fluffy and our East rival is Florida who just waxed the Vols. So that's 3 for the Tigers, Southeastern, Tech, and Rice. I'm compelled to take 1 away though giving extra credit to LSU for playing Georgia as our other East opponent contrasted with Missouri, the Tide's other East opponent.
I come up with LSU having a schedule strength reduction of 2 compared to Alabama's at 5 giving LSU a 3 point advantage in strength of schedule.
So, I don't know where you're coming up with Alabama having a weak schedule, theirs is almost as difficult as the Tigers'.
