Depending how you quantify these things, LSU is somewhere between 9 and 12 all time (out of 120). How is that mediocre?

Lookie who the first one to bring him up was. Clue- not a Bama fan.

i've heard people say this before...

seriously, we never bring him up. Y'ALL do.... btw, not to say it would be bad to bring up the Bear or talk about him.. i actually created a thread about him AFTER the last time someone was griping with this same complaint.... just in spite of the sentiment that we're always bringing him up?? *boggles*

Check some of the other threads dipshit. Take out the Bear years and you're on par (at best) with UF, LSU, Tenn, AUB, UGA.
So again....STFU!

That's all fine and good I guess. But statistically it's far from mediocre.

If LSU is mediocre, what are schools like Arkansas or West Virginia?

DS, anyone the gumps can manhandle on a regular basis is good to them. Duke has a fine football program.
Anyone that gives them hell is mediocre.

10 win seasons by Alabama from 1985 to Present- 11
10 win seasons by LSU during its entire history- 10

Oh and Florida has had 12 ten win seasons during its entire history, one more than Bama had during their worst 25 year stretch ever.

Minus the Bear yrs:

vs Lsu Bama owns a 29-20-5 record
vs Fla Bama is 13-13 (that's with them having Spurrier and Meyer)
vs Au Bama owns a 29-27-1 record
vs Ga Bama owns a 27-22-4 record

So without Bama's best coach and other teams still having theirs, Bama still owns winning records against 3 of the schools and still tied with a 4th. Fail on your part.

Answer the question. If LSU is mediocre and Arky/WV are awful then what does that make Ole Miss or Mizzou?

Not fail. According to your own stats (which I question the accuracy of) what the hell makes Bama so frickin "ELITE"?
