I think the hardest part for Alabama fans to come to grips with is that they were gifted 7 points -- the game shouldn't have been close.

No, they have not.

So, by losing to your state rival (who was ranked #4), then losing your Sugar Bowl game to Oklahoma, BUT WINNING ALL YOUR OTHER GAMES last season is equivalent to adversity in your mind?

You're so good you're bad... that's what you're saying. Yep, Bama fan for sure.

You cheated to get to the NC in 2011. You can't even win your own division. Your dynasty theory is delusional

Keep tLSU decline out of tAlabama decline thread.

I see very few comparisons to LSU. Bama still has a good coaching staff. Alabama is still a 9-11 win team with playoff hopes.

And your team is in freefall.

That's where you're (unsurprisingly) wrong. We're not having a hard time coming to grips with it at all. Many of us accepted that live, in the game thread, as it was happening.

once saban leaves i will bump this in 10 years when y'all are seeing the true crumbling of the dynasty

Isn't it remarkable how tightly some of them are clinging to their narrative of "gump reactions"? Reality is irrelevant, they just brush it off and tell us what we're thinking and saying.

It's my opinion that Saban's biggest asset has also come back to bite him a little bit. He is leaning to heavily on recruiting nationally. That core group of in state players that have been the leaders and backbone of his early teams just seems to be lacking the last 2 years.

See, but that assumes we hire a mouth breathing Mike Dubose-tier retard as a coach after he leaves.

They're freaking out because we aren't melting.
As wretched as LSU looks right now, some of their fans need for us to be melting alongside them. If they didn't have schadenfreude, they'd be on the edges of cliffs and the roofs of shanty swamp huts all over Louisiana.
