OR...Bama is the sloppiest team in the SEC so far and when you play the blue bloods or make it to the playoffs it will be your downfall.

but that it was not a conscious effort by the refs.

I once thought that until I saw PP7 and LSU get robbed on multiple occasions. The call or non-call to keep Bama in the game or give them a better chance has been going on for the past decade. It is obvious, consistent and completely gives Bama an unfair advantage. It is not just against LSU, it is anyone playing Bama when SEC refs are involved. No SEC crew help and they have to do it on their own, they get 46 dropped on them.

They also get unfair advantage in scheduling with the way the cross-division opponents and how the divisions are setup.

They're penalizing them rn because they know it won't affect the result rn. But once the big games come around, the whistle will be swallowed.

Ah yes. The yearly narrative

Those were penalties in garbage time against Bama. The LSU fans have assured me that the Bama refs only throw flags on Bama when we are already winning and the game is no longer in doubt. The Bama refs penalize our opponents only when it helps Bama to win the actual game. It’s a plausible conspiracy and I happen to believe it.

This is for non-conference games only, right?

I don't believe they're required to have officials during conference games; they are allowed to let former alums dress out as their version of "The 12ft Man".

REC is crafty like that.

Just wait until Bama is challenged, then the phantom calls and no calls will start.

This is just the REC building up their defense for the bigger games

Why do the 13 other SEC ADs and Coaches allow it to continue?

Alabama should prolly have 3 times as many calls against them. The officials are taking it easy on them as always
