AL is going to sit in the Bear Defense, clog all the running lanes and press the WR on the lOS, Watson is going to get blasted every play early on as the timing is going to be destroyed by Bamas Secondary and he wont be able to run.

On O Bama is going to lean on Clemson and mix in enough down field throws to wear them completely down. Henry goes for 250+ mostly in the second half.

The best Os to beat Bama are ones with experienced pocket passers and serviceable Olines that allow the QB time to throw over the defense with deep outs, slants, wheels, and goes. Then rely on top shelf running backs to eat. Almost worked for us with Murray and Gurley, I think Watson gets eaten alive.

Final Alabama, 40 something and Clemson in the teens.

Are you betting the over? It's at 51. I'm not touching the O/U in any Bama game.

I would say bet the over, just the nature of college football anymore. 51 seems low whether it is a blow out or a close game where both teams end up in the 20s -30s.

Not so fast!! Saban will announce his decision to return to the NFL the night before the championship game. That's just how he "rolls". Pun intended. That will do wonders for his squad!

I can see that. I hate betting O/U on major conference games.

Bama won't be able to score enough points. They're a one trick pony, and the pony is fat

I do kinda wonder if Alabama is overconfident. Dabo seems to be really good at selling the "no one respects us" mentality and even Saban seemed to be celebrating more than usual after the Cotton Bowl. This is still the kind of offense that gives Alabama trouble, like it or not.

Not to sound obnoxious/arrogant/ignorant but very few teams match up well with Bama when they try to beat them at their own game.

I agree. I will go out on a limb here and say that LSU has really been the only team that has lined up and did a decent job. All of Bama's losses have been to pretty much spread type of offenses and this is where Watson and Clemson's style could come into play.

Coach Nick Saban demands that his players comport themselves with quiet and humble confidence, respect for the game and respect for the opponent.

Coach encourages all fans to comport themselves in the same manner -- not just fans of Alabama or the SEC, but all fans.

If any fan acts in contravention of this encouragement, Coach would be disappointed in that fan.

I don't think they are overconfident. I think that they are fully aware that Clemson is perfectly capable of beating anybody.

This is a fully realized offensive team. arguably the second that Alabama has played this season. I expect lots of points in a back and forth battle that will ultimately be won by turnovers and big plays, not the trenches.

Bama covers and game goes under. Same as the MSU game.
