Like the old days of Bama winning championships.

How many did we win scoring 45 a game?

No it isn't, I'd be majorly shocked if Alabama has ever won a title averaging >30 per game.

You said “ever”, so…

1992 averaged 25.5 PPG

And LSU will win at Bryant Denny with its worst defense maybe ever.

The same Pete Golding that beat LSU?

To be fair, Ole Miss didn't win that game because of Pete Golding.

Defense forcing a turnover (should have been more if our DB's could catch the ball), and stopping LSU on the last two possessions was pretty huge. Daniels still played lights out.

How do you figure? You had a 9 point lead in the 4th and couldn't win.

Sounds like he had an impact.

I mean LSU's receiver dropping the game tying touchdown pass had more to do with that than Pete Golding, otherwise LSU likely wins on a Hail Mary.

Tennessee matches up very well and if this were a hone game for us, we would win by teo plus scores imo.

The Tennessee dline vs the Bama oline will be the story of the game.

Take away a team's two highest scoring games and their PPG looks average.
