We have no prayer of winning this game without Buster Faulkner. May as well chalk it up as a loss and bow hunt all weekend.

Last time we played Bama in a maelstrom (2015) it didn't go well. The weather could very well dictate the entire game.

That said, we're still waiting for our secondary to have a breakout, dominant game. I'd love for that to be this Saturday.

They betting public think Saban is stil on that sideline

I don't really see that at all. I think the betting public sees bama wiht a high flying attack led by a sensational dual threat QB while UGA is teh same ol boring UGA as always that has played 5 tomato cans.

Not saying that's right or wrong, just saying I think the average John Q. Gambler probably has a dozen or so reasons to think bama will win that doesn't have anything to do with saban.

we also had a walking turnover at QB and one of the worst defenses of the kirby era, against a team that admitted publicly spent 12 months preparing to beat us.

I wouldn't put too much stock into that game as it relates to saturday.

If the rain can put a damper (as it were) on their atmosphere, that's a good thing.

Kirby will have the firehouses spraying on the players during practice this week.

The weather doesn't concern me.

Alabama being a great team is what concerns me.

I've always thought real true inclement weather favors the road team because it takes the crowd out of it.

The only real physical advantage in my opinion is a pretty overlooked physical attribute but can absolutely hinder a team- is if your starting QB has smaller than average hands. Blake Sims had small hands for a QB and could not hit the broad side of a barn in a rainstorm. If both QB's have big mitts and there's weather similar to the 2015 game, I'd say it slightly favors Georgia relative to what they'd be up against with good weather

I like looking at lines but I've learned my lesson on ever betting on UGA Bama games

Bama is more likely to have even trashier sidewalk fans than we do, but other than that, us not having Buster is the clear and obvious difference. Bama by 30.

It was 2.5 on us and espn had us at a 52% chance of winning on the matchup simulator now it’s flipped

You'll never convince me that ESPN doesn't monkey with their metrics to influence the wagers, since they're getting a cut of what's generated through their affiliation.

Should be illegal to own both a broadcast network that covers games and betting networks that profits from them ....

They completely set UT fans up during the week period they were #1... biggest sucker bet of all time.

Gambling is still a bigger threat to College football than NIL
