The template is in to beat A&M. Ball Control, then let us self destruct on offense. Give up the short dink and dunks, runs, while we drive the field then we will eventually get stuffed on 3rd and short or the wide receiver wills will drop the the ball.

Can he match Sim's vertical leap on a QB sneak?

I think not.

You know, Goose, I along with most realistic Bama fans I know, predicted 3 losses.

I was torn - mostly because I had hopes for our offense.

So I ranged from undefeated to 4 losses in my thoughts earlier in the year. I'm still not sure we manage 10 wins this year (thank goodness LSU sucks this year too). Of course, the team may suddenly click and we win out (ala AU 2013) but I'm having a hard time believing that.

The aTm game scares the mess out of me. aTm can score a lot of points when they are clicking and Bama can't win a scoring match if it turns into one like last year.

I truly don't know if the Aggie offense will click again this year. Something has gone very wrong. I think Bama will win but I have no idea by how much.

If Alabama runs the ball consistently they will win this game fairly easy. Did you see how bad A&M was against an average running QB in Wallace?

I bet you see it a lot this weekend. A&M has no understanding of how to stop the zone read. Alabama shouldn't throw the ball until A&M can stop it.

Hmm... well A&M isn't as good as we thought they were before the season started. Not an insult considering a few folks were talking them up as a playoff contender. They have had a rough few weeks and that has taken some shine off the team. Its not like they suddenly became a Sunbelt team though.

I would imagine these next few games go a long way to showing what sort of coach Sumlin is. If he can rally the team and get them back on track the Aggies can still have a good season.

As for Bama they've become a bit of a finesse team on offense this year. Nothing wrong with that, but the Aggies are weakest against physical teams that run right at them.

If we continue with our "mush rush" scheme on D, we are in for a loooong day!

Yeah, the D-line should play very aggressive. From what I've seen Hill isn't going to run the ball so there's no need to stay contained. He's also not going to throw the ball to his RBs coming out of the backfield. The recipe for success against A&M is get pressure on Hill and he will throw the ball to your DBs a couple times.

Just cant figure out why we don't put some 240-250 pound guys on the edge sometimes and go get the QB. Can't argue with overall success we have had though.
