At least half the time, the game is just a formality due to an overmatched opponent. But I’m looking forward to this game.

It’s just a game played by kids. No stress here. Don’t live your life controlled by children playing games. Besides, you know the outcome, right?

My brother, smartest man I know, who received his doctorate from Alabama can't even watch the games for the stress. Doesn't matter who you are.

I know two people like that who just cannot watch big games that Bama is in. They just hate the stress of it. One of them shuts his phone off and plays video games the other one watches a movie and follows along on an app. I get it but you miss out on something like 2nd and 26 or all those great come from behind wins. It sucks when you lose on the biggest stage but at least you are on that stage

Well yeah it’s intense. But we weren’t supposed to be here. If we win I’ll be very impressed. If we lose then it’s been a great warm up for next season when will be absolutely loaded

I am super hyped and stressed TF out. I just want it over with. With all your success, do you still get this way as fans or is it just routine now?

Not anymore. The first three were stressful and Clemson is always stressful.

Does anyone else love your teams bye week the most of all. Kick back watch football all day and not have to worry about my team giving me a heart attack

Every time. I’ve been around for about 20 times we’ve played a title game or a bowl if we won we’d get an AP or UPI and they get no easier

This is the first one where I am more excited about winning than dreading losing except for Notre Dame in '12. I knew we were going to kick the shite out of them.

But, yeah, house money and all that. Bama posters are troll-proof if things don't go out way. I'll just laugh if anyone tries to zing us Tuesday. 15 years into this, we've built up an immunity to that.

Absolutely agree. I yelled throughout the house the same words when Bama beat Auburn in 4 overtimes as I did when Devonta strolled into the end zone. Both were so quick, many didn't expect it... leaving people stunned. That high... it's like no other.

And I'll risk the lows for that feeling any day.

The other games that season I was excited but never really super nervous. I doubt bama fans get too nervous anymore, they’re a damn machine, every once in a while there will be a little malfunction, but they usually operate without a hitch.

Last year and 2012 is the only time I can remember not being overly concerned about a NC game. No one was beating last years team and you knew Nd couldn’t match Bama in 2012. I’m like Tusc, I didn’t expect to get here this year so this has been fantastic especially about half way through the season and Bama looking so blah in most of their games.
