trent has been sub 4.0 ypc all game until his most recent run in garbage time. he's averaging like 3.4 ypc over 2 games and he's closing in on 50 carries. trent would be #3 at LSU because of his lack of vision.
get him the ball on swing passes and he's damn good.. he'll knock your teeth out and his feet don't stop, but he's overrated. not even a top-3 RB in the SEC

I'm not going that far. Lacy's runs have been on fresh legs, but he seems to be breaking tackles better. This line is not making many holes so these HB's need to make their own. Vision is what always separated Ingram from Richardson and that is still Trent's weakness.

I kept hearing this would be so much different than last year but other than Bama looking a bit shaky in spots I saw nothing really different from PSU.

DePriest is going to be a tackling machine when he gets a chance to start in the future. His instincts are second to none. If not for our depth at LB, he would probably be starting or at least getting a lot of PT this year.

you're right...would much rather have huge yards per carry than 5 touchdowns...and it's really sad that there is no one to back trent up for those important yards per carry.

he's good, but not great. i'd even go as far as calling him an average SEC back this season.
