"we will beat your sorry arse again."
Your sorry arse never played a down. You are a fan because you bought a shirt and hat at walmarks.

A lot of folks saying things like this but you're talking about a freshman QB who has had no snap against quality opponents in high pressure situations the entire season. And you think throwing him into the NCG to bring the team back is a good idea? Against a UGA defense who pressured Baker Mayfield so much he was rattled?
Sometimes you've just got to stick with what got you there. Tua is not prepared for this moment, at all.

And once again, Alabama somehow has more national championships than SEC championships this decade.
This is incorrect.
Nice try though.
National Title in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017. That's a total of 4, for you slow LSU peeps.
SEC titles in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016. That's also a total of 4, for you slow LSU peeps.
4 is not greater than 4. Therefore, your post is incorrect.
Have a wonderful day.

Farmer Brown and Rabern57 are two of the grumpiest and crotchety Aubies.

Kirby sold his soul for a season like this, only to come up short. Much like Muschamp in 2012. Smart will be fired in a few years after some lack luster seasons as well.

I wouldn't count on it, but I can understand how you would hope so.

This loss will resonate with Georgia for some time. They will always have doubt now.
Props to them for making 2 overtime games in the playoffs.

It's possible. But I think we went much further than most thought. Farther than Georgia fans thought, for sure. So, I don't think it will affect us too much. I think Alabama lost their first championship game, too. Not saying we are about to go on an Alabama run, but all in all I don't think this loss will hurt them a whole lot. Very few teams win in their first situation like this.

This game has no affect on what happens next year. If Kirby is the coach I think he is, Georgia uses this game as a launching pad to the future. They went toe to toe with the champ, but got knocked out with seconds to go in the final round.
Kirbs uses this game as a learning experience for his team. Learn to finish. Play for 60 minutes, then some.

no it wont. sorry to burst your bubble. got a top recruiting class ready to get the train going again

The UGA Train is just getting warmed up. I still can't believe The Tide was able to comeback and win the game. Nick did learn after 14 games that Tony Brown and Bo Scarbough play much better on the sideline standing by him.

I'm not picking on UGa today, they had a hell of a season and played a great game last night.
I do agree that Smart's first two years are very similar to what Muschamp's were at UF.
One great recruiting class doesn't guarantee that you will maintain this years success. UGa will take a step back next year with all the players they lose. Year 4 will determine Smart's path forward but by then the Gators will be back, so who knows?
But for now cheers, Dog fans on a great season.

Are you serious. The refs had a major hand in the Tide 'victory'. The self-delusion among Gumps is truly legendary.

Even (reasonable) Georgia fans don't blame the refs.
The best team with the best players and the best coaches won the game. I hate losing and I also hate excuses.
