Every year? aTm's record sure leads me to believe we are in danger of losing to them every year.

Will have to wait for 2020 for another rebuilding year for the Tide. Though the defense that year will be lights out.
Other rebuilding years for the Tide the last few years were 2014, 2017 and 2018.
Bama does well in rebuilding years.

Here's a look at how many 4 & 5 star players Saban signed each year so far. Including 2007 only as a baseline comparison.
2019: 24 out of 27 (clearly this year MIGHT be different)
2018: 16 out of 20 (small class but that's still 80%)
2017: 26 out of 29 (bag man gets endless re-up of hookers & blow)
2016: 15 out of 24 (decline was real)
2015: 19 out of 25
2014: 19 out of 26
2013: 17 out of 25
2012: 17 out of 26
2011: 17 out of 23
2010: 16 out of 26
2009: 18 out of 27
2008: 22 out of 32 (the incline begins)
2007: 10 out of 25 (zero 5 stars)

Clemson could have put 60 on Ala,’s defense, signing top classes isn’t helping Saban apparently. Saban looks drained and assistants leaving Bama like it’s a disease.

Bizarre is right. I don't think I've ever seen a fanbase cling to the accomplishments of others quite like L8U clinging to Clemson. It's as if they won the National Championship, while losing their collective minds all at the same time.

Actually they have tried to hire Aranda away a few times. He's a pretty good coach.
