Ala and Ga are better than Ohio St and Michigan, the SEC shouldn’t be left out of playoff

The Big Ten is a pathetic league, it’s even worse this year. Their entire conference are among the weakest offenses in all of college football. I would love to see how Ohio St or Michigan would fare playing Ole Miss, LSU, Ala, Ga, and Tenn but first start the season with an out of conference opponent like Texas or Fla State. This playoff committee is a joke.

If Bama beats UGA in a close game, there’s no way they can leave either Bama or UGA out…
There’s still a lot of football to be played…

There’s no way a 12-1 SEC champ Bama would be left out in my opinion.

God help everyone if Notre Dame only had 2 losses this season instead of three.
If ND finished the season with only 2 loses, it's not entirely assured that an even unbeaten SEC champ Georgia would make the playoffs if Ohio State, Michigan, and Washington stayed at their current positions.
There is no greater love and hope and slavish praise and admiration and inflated worth heaped upon a team greater than that freely given to Notre Dame.

It’s not just ND. Michigan cheated in football. Kansas in basketball. No outrage, no punishment. These are good baws. LOL

Really hard to say Ohio State is pathetic. Yes, they can't seem to win the big one that they must win to get the big trophy, but they have had competitive games in the playoff recently and a good win over Clemson.

It would be nice for SEC teams like Ala and Ga if they didn’t have to worry about injuries because of the stiff SEC competition. Ohio St just gets to cruise through their season, it’s a cupcake marathon.

there is no way that Bama is going to beat Georgia, so it won't matter anyway. all Georgia has to do is stop Milroe from running and it's game over. Milroe can't beat you with his arm.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion.

They won’t because Georgia isn’t losing to Alabama.

It typically plays out and works things out on their own....but...let's say Alabama beats Georgia in the SECCG and...
Washington remains undefeated
Michigan/OSU winner remains undefeated
Texas wins BIG 12 with 1 loss
FSU remains undefeated
Who would you put Alabama and/or Georgia in over?
Undefeated conference Champions are going to go this year.

Leave LSU out of it.

The winner of the SEC championship is in. Both would be in over Texas. (I know Bama loss to them). So PAC 12 (Oregon/UW) winner, Big 10 (OSU/Mighican) winner, FSU If they go undefeated. I also think Texas loses again.

You will see it next year when Texas plays Michigan.
By the way, there is a real chance Texas loses tonight to Iowa State. However, if Texas runs the table and Bama runs the table from here on out there is no way Alabama is getting into the playoffs over Texas.

I’m not so sure about that TBH. I think that is the most interesting playoff scenario. Texas wins head to head but Bama would have just beaten a team that hasn’t lost in two years and will be SEC champ. I would honor the head to head, but I could see the committee doing it differently.

Assuming both take care of bid'niss up to the Champ Game, the winner goes to the play off 100%

Theres no way a two loss Texas makes the playoff in any scenario.

Playoff Committee will be put in a difficult position. I would be upset if I was Texas, and I would be upset if I was Alabama. For the most part each team did what they were supposed to do.

You’re right, but a loss by Georgia in the SECC and they will be assuming FSU, OSU, and Washington remain undefeated. Then it will be between Texas and Alabama
