Texas with McCoy has the ugliest qb in the whole country....was he a regular in the "living Dead"?

Slive trying to strong arm Cotton Bowl officials into taking UGA over LSU. Cotton Bowl has said they want LSU.

Got any proof of this?

Word around the water cooler right now.

Cotton Bowl has definitely come out and said LSU was their favored matchup for Texas, though. There's some twitter stuff with direct quotes, don't have it handy right now though.

If LSU gets Cotton, then UGA falls to Chick-fil-a. The loser of the championship game falling that far is hard to believe.

I think at the end of the day, the Cotton Bowl will do what they feel is best for them and not worry about pressure from the SEC.

I don't really understand Slive's angle here tbh. Like I understand going to bat for one of your programs but why would you do that at the harm of another one of your marquee programs? It's strange to me.

It happened to LSU in 2005. it is UGA's turn.

LSU did it in 2005 and just had to deal with it. The thing that supposedly took the sting off of it was a good matchup with a highly ranked Miami team (in what turned out to be a blowout), but still.

Thanks for this. I've wondered for a few years if growing up in West Texas he had his head run over by a tractor. I'm sincerely not trying to be an arse, but that is one ugly feller.

I hope Georgia doesn't get too screwed on a bowl, I'm just excited to see UGA or LSU in the Cotton beat the snot out of Texas and watch another Mack meltdown.

Did you start following SEC football this season, or last?

The only thing that's different is UGA played a close game with Bama this year while LSU was blown out in the 05 game.

As much as I'd love to play UT or OU, I can't afford to go to fricking Texas.

I don't get it, why not just strong arm Capital One into taking UGA? Let Cotton choose between A&M and LSU...

Which is why the Cotton Bowl should tell Slive to suck it and take LSU.

The choice is not A&M. Big XII is ducking us hard.

Like some have stated already, there is an almost outright refusal of certain Big 12 teams to play us.

Slive doesn't wanna send a Heisman winner to the Chik fila bowl. And A&M and Texas refuse to play each other in cotton. Cap1 wants the hot team.
