Julio is at 954 yds receiving with 8 tds as of 5 mins ago.

Aj has 1050 and 7 tds with more games played.

I don't understand why people are conceding that aj is better.

I understand that you would prefer AJ over JJ and I do think AJ is better. However, what is not to like about JJ? Yes he's had some drops but he also has had some very big plays. I believe he's had around 450 yards and 6 TDs in the last 4 games. Roddy White had some drops earlier in the year. Do you not like him either?

AJ got drafted two spots ahead of JJ and got 19.6 million. Julio got 16.2 million.

As of now:

AJ - 1057 yards / 7 TDs
JJ - 959 yards / 8 TDs

Julio was 100 yards shy of AJ with two fewer games played. If you want to hold that against Julio and say he isn't as durable, that's fine.

In the final analysis, though, isn't it fair to say, considering contract $$, that Julio has performed on par with AJ? Again, I don't think any of us are saying Julio is better, but some of these AJ>>>>>>Julio comments are just beyond reasonable.

I don't see what their contracts have to do with it, but yeah they pretty much had the same level of production this year. Julio just didn't do himself any favors by dropping a couple of balls at really bad times, and that's pretty much the difference in their seasons. Both will have really good careers if they stay healthy and out of trouble.

Hey cool gif. I noticed it says 'pregame'. Too bad that fricker can't make catches like that when it actually counts.

AJ > Julio

I wish it was the other way around, but it isn't.

He isn't. Their numbers are a wash, but JJ played in less games with a much better receiving corps.

No, he really isnt as of right now. Their numbers are almost even as you can see in a post or two above yours.

Pretty much the dumbest post of the night. He has 8 TD's. I guess they don't count though.

julio has dropped a gamewinner vs the texans and had a fumble that went back for a td killing any hope of a comeback vs the saints

It's not his fault the Falcon gave up alot for him. He's a rookie and I'd say he's done alot more good than bad this year. At this point and in college, I'd say that AJ is better but both are tremendous athletes and AJ is definitely not far ahead of JJ like some want to believe.

It seems to me that JJ gets alot of hate cuz the Falcons gave up alot for him and he played at Bama.

How many times do you mongoloids have to be told that the depth chart status is irrelevant when both are receiving the same number of targets? If anything it makes AJ's numbers more impressive, as his targets are all against #1 CBs

Chill with the racist rhetoric there genius. It was extremely obvious early in the year Gonzalez and White were the targets more often than JJ because Ryan was much more familiar with them and had confidence in them which is duly deserved. As the season progressed JJ got the ball thrown is way more frequently. AJ was Dalton's #1 target from the get go. Don't give me the number one corner bull. Who was the best corner he faced all year? Ike Taylor? Carlos Rodgers? No thanks.

My usage of the word mongoloid had nothing to do with race, dumbass. Try google searching the definition...

We were discussing their season totals, in which they received an almost identical number of targets per game. The above quote is meaningless.

The number one corner statement is factual and a legitimate argument. The Bengals play in the toughest division in football as far as pass D's go, while the Falcons play in one of the easiest. Beating Ike Taylor and Joe Haden is a hell of a lot harder than beating whoever the Panthers and Bucs are trotting out there as their #2 guys

You google it dipshit-
LINK

Before today's game JJ 89 targets AJ 114 targets.

Ike Taylor is not a cover corner, he is a tackling machine.

Educate yourself before you spew your ignorance once more.

Try this one bro...

Why don't you actually throw out some counter arguments? I'm waiting on you to address some of the points from my previous post rather than failing once again at the various definitions of "mongoloid"
