He has done enough to win the national title in his two years starting. What do you want your quarterback to do? I think most answers would be take care of the football and put your team in a position to win games. AJ has not had to do it all himself, but he has done great in what his coach asked him to do. Not turn it over, and make good decisions. He has also made a few throws in big games when needed to and he has missed some, just like all quarterbacks.

He is certainly in the discussion of best quarterbacks in the country due to his efficiency rating.

was just pointing out that he's been on nothing but winning teams even since high school.

And well... if he has another solid season and gets picked fairly high in the draft... he'll play for one of the less fortunate teams in the NFL.

Should be a blast to watch.

Plus Cooper is the first true deep threat he has had. I mean real quality threat and he didn't come along till 2nd half of the season last year. AJ still has room to improve and if he improves and keeps his INT count low, who knows how he will be viewed at the end of this year. If he does that all I know is that Alabama will be serious title contenders.

He may go to the patriots late in round one, only to be molded by Tom Brady in to the best to ever play the game.

Agrees, but some of it was in spite of him... Baylor doesn't beat K-State and Alabama is looking at that A&M game and saying, A&M gave up 57 to LA Tech. He played shitty against an average defense and cost us another natty. Simple as that. That never actually came to fruition, but AJ has had spare games that have lead to losses. When your QB is the worst part of your offense, especially in big games, he's not doing what is asked of him.

I'm eager to see him behind a new O-line. I also want to see him lose his shite at another lineman. rofl

For 2013, I'm expecting AJ's stat line to look like:

68%
3100 yards
33 TDs
2 INTs

and another NC to make 4 for his career.

can you say GOAT college career?

The Patriots could use another body behind Mallett. I wouldn't mind seeing them pick up AJ in the 4th round.

Setting aside my JFF masturbatory session for a moment:

Aaron Murray is at least as good as McCarron. Put him on Alabama's team and they still win a natty.
