JFF is a douche, but at least he'd be fun to party with.

JM is a guest a guest at a camp hosted by the First Family of Southern Football. He could have not acted the way he did. Was it AJ's fault for not waking him up? Hell no. JFF wants to act like a grown up let him wake up on his own like a grown ups do.

Well, good to hear. Hopefully he would try to cover for him. That's what bro's do. Competition can be a friendly rivalry

Agree, definitely something.

I completely agree with what is in this article, but here is something else.

AJ on JFF

quote:

“You can’t be a normal 22-year-old kid… I can’t go out and act a fool. I can’t go out and drink excessively, being wild and stuff. I can’t do that.”

quote:

“As Coach Saban says, ‘We created this beast. You asked for this lifestyle and you asked for this spotlight that comes with it. So enjoy it, but don’t misuse it in any kind of way.”

I think AJ is jealous that JFF is the rock star and he is not. That's not too hard to see. I don't think AJ acted inappropriately and is likely covering for JFF, but he does NOT like all the attention JFF is getting right now, for certain.

I guess AJ will just have to settle with three rings and a supermodel girlfriend.

Yes, sadly these Aggie fans are serious about that.

Im glad AJ is the QB of our squad. Dude has his head on straight.

I'd be willing to bet that outside of A&M, most, "team" players from Div 1 football would take AJ over JFF any day of the week.

Any bets on who Clowney would take?

Why is that so hard to fathom? What, no Alabama player can ever be jealous, much less jealous of Aggy? It's not an insult or a comparison of talent. JFF gets more spotlight and AJ doesn't like it. These guys live for the spotlight and hate when it goes elsewhere. Don't kid yourself.

Here you have a NC winning QB who does what he is supposed to do and keeps his nose clean, but all the attention goes to JFF? I would be jealous if I were AJ. He deserves some of that spotlight. Why all the JFF press?

Who cares? That's beside the point.

I think it's likely JFF wasn't even there. And if he was, it's his responsibility to get himself up and to where he's supposed to be. No one elses.

It sounds to me like AJ is doing Manziel a favor by deflecting the questions. And he's likely frustrated at being asked, continually, about this arrogant, douche-canoe of a brat. It's taking attention away from his team at media days.

I'm not a big AJ McCarron fan, but he is a team player. I highly doubt he'd have let him sleep in and miss the camp. My guess is JFF wasn't there, or if he was, AJ tried to get him up and he ignored him.

Maybe JFF wasn't in the room for AJ to wake his arse up. He was somewhere else instead of in his room. Think about it

Not reading this whole thread, but is anyone really arguing AJ should have been Johnny Hangover's babysitter?
