Starting the last 50 completely disregards Texas best decade and takes into account atms best decade. Even with that massive bias you still have a worse record, no championship, and much less conference championships.

Aggies, you are top 20-25 program all time but acting like Texas and atm are close is laughable. Even with our terrible underachieving we still dominate you in every measure possible

Have you met him? Have you spoken to him? Do you know him?

I’m guessing that’s a no on all 3 (I have several times) and even if he was a “fruit” what the f does that matter? He’s dominated college athletics as a whole (which is his job) and done a good job in football which is a large part of his job.

You are hilarious. You won a vball natty and you start puffing your chest. Texas is a top 2-5 program in vball and baseball, top 5-10 in football, top
20 in basketball and if you want to keep going down the other sports we are just fine historically.

You seriously do not want to compare baseball hardware in any discussion aggie.

You cheated your arse off (so bad the ncaa thought of giving you the death penalty and might have if they didn’t see what it did to SMU) just to STILL be behind Texas in wins, conference titles, championships, literally every measure the college football has in that 50 year timeframe you are using. Which also conveniently takes out Texas most dominant run but whatever lol

Honestly wish yall would have.

But comparing selling out arenas is pretty silly in a town with infinitely more to do that a lot of “college towns” which austin is no longer

This thread devolved into ATM acting like our football programs are remotely close.

I’m not worried about you beating an unranked Texas team this year. Good win for yall for sure

- A&M won vball. So we are a top 1 program right now.
- Should finish higher than Texas in final CFP rankings
- Just beat Texas basketball in your own home
- Baseball…mostly even in the last few years with A&M having more postseason success

Those are the facts.

It’s wonderful that you enjoy celebrating accomplishments from the 1900s but with the largest athletic budget in the country and gifted with resources most schools don’t have…Texas has underperformed in almost every sport people actually watch.

Was hard to read past “we are a top 1 vball program”

Does that mean if Indiana wins they are the top 1 college football program lol.

I will agree Texas has underperformed in the big sports. Your athletics are doing ok, historically they are nowhere near Texas unless you cherry pick dates and then you become “close”

Ok, how about in all sports since we have been in the SEC? Does that work for you?

The aggies beat us in every sport since we been in the SEC besides football, baseball, and WBB.

Perhaps. Perhaps not. What it does mean is that Ohio State (or another rival) would look pretty pathetic and foolish saying, “you won it all this year, but we are a top 5 program”.

A&M is celebrating their 2026 national championship in 2026.

If you need to celebrate Texas’ 2023 national championship 3 years later no one will stop you. But it does not come off as impressive or a statement of being a powerhouse. It just comes off as insecurity to me.

I love history. But no amount of history changes the current state of athletics. Feather in the cap for sure, but mostly irrelevant on the outcome of a current game or season.
