hell even LSUA&M
With so many LSU alum in Houston, it really is silly to try to say they don't share many similarities.

Oh I think A&m and LSU share lots of common traits. I'm just having trouble seeing through the weirdness I guess. Let's all just make it a me problem so we can all be happy.

Why do you think a&m fits in?
I think A&M fits in just as well as Arkansas or South Carolina and a shite load better than Missouri does. For the life of me, I still can't figure out what the thought pattern was on Missouri.

I think the addition of Missouri to the SEC was something that started as a joke by Slive but it went too far

When did weird become a disqualification for the SEC?

I rest my case.

Good lord man I don't think I've ever pissed someone off here with just sheer fricking around. What am I even trying hard to do? I have not a clue.
You seem to be the one allowing yourself to be mad about what a "clown" says. Relax.
Now tell me you love me, even if you don't. I post here 5 times a day so I can feel something and get attention from anonymous people. It's my life's work.

I don't live in a big city, but a town of 100,000 within spitting distance of the Red River--only 2 hours from Norman. Football is covered so much by the media that I have no trouble following what's happening with the Big XII, and the Big XII fans seem to have no shortage of info on what we're doing in football. But with the other sports, even basketball, I've started to lose track. I kind of have a vague feel for what's happening in the Big XII, but that's it. I'm a huge baseball fan and I can't even begin to tell you which are predicated to be the top 3 or 4 teams in that league (I'm going to go out on a limb and guess TCU is picked to win it, but I really have no idea).
It does seem to have taken the tension level down several notches, at least with fans that aren't foaming at the mouth rabid. There's still a little banter back and forth, but it doesn't have quite the same venom.
As far as the local media goes, it hasn't changed much here (we never got good coverage anyway), but if there has been a decrease locally, it's more than made up for by the increased national coverage.
