They let La Tech score 57 points on them.
We were so depleted in the secondary from injuries and suspensions that we had to put our starting SLB at Nickel back. In addition, our starting WLB was suspended and our starting NT was injured. Our biggest flaw this year was a lack of depth and it showed in this game.
Despite all those issues, we were still up 27-0 in the 2nd quarter with all signs pointing to a blowout when the worst PI call of all time on a 3rd down allowed La Tech's offense to get going and give the team some hope. We had an absurd number of penalties, with at least half due to bad calls by the worst SEC officiating crew you can get calling that game.
Outside of that one anomaly, our defense has played very well this year, a few blown coverages not withstanding.

The Aggies have the best all time winning percentage in SEC games. That makes us number one biotches.

Who cares about big 6? A&M controls the largest tv market in the conference. Our vote matters.

Blah, blah, blah.
Excuses.
Just admit you were lucky to escape Shreveport with a victory and marinate for a moment on the fact that your school played a game AT Louisiana Tech.
Big 6 teams NEVER EVER play schools like La. Tech on their terms. Pay them for a one and done at your house or don't bother.
Big 6 application denied.

All the more televisions tuned in when the Big 6 teams take care of business in Atlanta next December.

We were lucky to escape Shreveport with a win. Happy? Luckier at Ole Miss. My previous post stands: LaTech would have destroyed several SEC teams.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. What? Georgia Southern? Western Carolina? Towson? Louisiana Lafayette? Did you actually think before you wrote that? LaTech would beat the snot out of any of those teams as well as the bottom half of the SEC.

Lucky my arse. We were up 28-0 in the game and got bored missing 4 starters.
A&M is not a deep team right now. So, it mattered.
Check out 12, 13 and 14 recruiting. Depth wont be a problem moving forward.
Get used to it.

Sorry but every time I read this I think of something else than what it's intended for. I guess it's the SEC in me.
