You cannot be serious? That gift you got from the ref wearing a burnt orange shirt under his uniform got us out of Sherman’s contract

We certainly aren’t upset over it

Actually 27-25 got Sherman fired. So thanks for that!

My favorite athlete of all time.

Ken Hall is the most dominant TX HS football player of all time.

Ironically the Bear ruined him at A&M. Bryant stated it was his biggest mistake/regret of his coaching career.

Be honest, you know we only really discuss your pathetic teams here is when your friends from orange bloods flood this place feeling cocky about something

Then they all turn tail and run away after losing whatever contest it was they were fired up about

You sure as hell got that right. According to no less authority than a former Alabama coach, "he's the only player I ever saw who was NFL ready coming out of HS."

Once an Ag, always an Ag. I'm happy for Kyler.

There is no way Kyler could have continued at A&M. His teammates on both the football and baseball teams hated him. He came in with an incredibly entitled attitude and along with his father proceeded to act like a douche all year long. He purposely threw a pick in one game b/c he didn't like the play call. He blatantly quit in another. He cursed out our coaching staff on the sideline during a game. He was a true freshman pissed off he wasn't anointed the starting QB from day 1. Then when the dude had the starting gig all but guaranteed with Allen transferring he balked that Sumlin was going to have him "win" the starting job during bowl prep and he refused to show up for practice eventually quitting after a few days of sulking. His teammates were so pissed at the way he acted they took all his shite from his locker and threw it outside the athletic building.

It's interesting that none of this has occurred with Kyler during his time at Oklahoma. None of it. He's well liked and respected by his teammates in both football and baseball and nobody even knows who his father is. He has conducted himself with nothing but professionalism and been a team guy from day 1.

MEANWHILE.....out in Arizona, Kevin Sumlin is losing yet another QB with Khalil Tate transferring.

Sometimes you have to look at the constant.

I mean it’s two completely different situations. BUT

yeah after Jake’s article on the QB room I went back to neutral on Kyler. I’m sure he thought he was untouchable, but they were all incredibly mismanaged.

I don't pretend to know what Sumlin's problem is, but all of the things I've read that aggies say Kyler was doing down in college station......none of them have occurred, or been the case, here.

I don't think an entitled little punk, as he's been made out to be, grows up entirely over the course of a transfer to another school.

What I DO know is that Sumlin keeps losing QBs to transfer. Two down in college station, and now Khalil Tate at AZ has had enough and looking elsehwere.

So something is going on, and Kevin Sumlin seems to always be at the center of it, not Kyler Murray.

The Kyler fiasco helped usher Sumlin out. For that I will always be grateful.
