What was the straw the broke the camels back and decide that you were fed up and not taking this shite anymore? Was it just longhorn TV? I assume it was a series of things that they did over time that eat at your soul, favorable calls, fricking you on bowls assignments, scheduling, and we all know about the bias officiating. What did you do next, did you just have your AD call Slive or talk to other ADs? Asking for a friend....

Florida was supposed to join years ago but Slive did some masterful smoothing. When LSU goes Florida will too or be right behind us

South Carolina (ACC)
Colorado (Big 12)
Nebraska (Big 12)
Georgia Tech (SEC)
etc.

Slive is gone, he and his predecessor keep us all together. And Bear treated everyone fairly other than in recruiting and all the coaches were drinking buddies. Those days are gone. The new guy is a joke. Nobody likes Saban and it’s all about money. With LSU and Florida ACC will be better conference than SEC much bigger TV market, more money. It’s going to happen

things got stale. the opportunity to play in the SEC and do something for A&M, out from under the shadow of UT was something most of our fanbase believed in. over time we would develop resources that would surpass UT because our target point was LSU and BAMA. We finally chose a coach who has that philosophy and here we are. so far so good.
