We went 6-6 last year in the B12 and Arkansas had to come from 18 down to beat us by 4.
So we were good enough to spot a bowl eligible team 18 points and still win? Sounds like it was clear who the better team was.

Yea, y'all were better than A&M. By 4 points. And y'all didn't spot us 18. We took them until our horrible S&C program cost us another game.
Arkansas hasn't won a conference title in over 20 years. The other 4 teams listed have 6 national titles in the last 12 years. You don't deserve on that list yet.
And the poster that made the list didn't specify last year. He said Aggies don't realize that Texas, OU and Ok St aren't LSU, Bama, and Arkansas. One team on each of those lists clearly don't belong. But at least OK St finally got a conference championship so I didnt call them out. That and it's the SECr and wgaf about Ok St enough to even bother?

Texas A&M absolutely choked in those Arkansas and Ok. St games in the 2nd half. They were better than their record indicated... but undefeated this season? No way.

Everyone was clearly talking about last year. What those programs have done in the past doesn't matter as much as last year. Texas is pitiful and we would have railed their arse.

OSU was only better by 1 so that clearly means we would have won the big 12 by a field goal.

No, silly Aggie, I was calling YOU out. YOU are the one that specified last year as to why we don't deserve to be on that list.

You added Arkansas to that list?

I repeat, 6-6 in the B12 and Arkansas won by 4.
By focusing on last season (which you initiated), not including us and Oklahoma State in a top list while including Texas and Oklahoma is downright dumb. Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma State, and Arkansas were the 4 best teams in the nation last season. Texas was awful and Oklahoma wasn't very good, either. Us not winning a conference title in 20 years has nothing to do with next season, or where our teams stand. Bobby Petrino wasn't our coach 20 years ago.
A&M had a lot of talent, but just couldn't close out in second half. I still think they were a good team, and consider that a good win. Beating any team 3 years in a row is not easy.

I feel like we started over looking them after the first year when we blew them off the field.

Numerous reasons not to subscribe to the Bleacher Report............

I forgot. 2 years in a row y'all just happened to not show up to play and didn't blow us out as y'all should have

And just to be clear, you think Arkansas is in the same class and belongs on the same list with Alabama and LSU?

I know it's been disappointing. Hopefully we get our shite together next year. I'd hate to lead you guys on in Kyle Stadium, it would just be rude.

Out of curiosity, after seeing there was an "advantage" in every game, I wanted to see what the "advantage" A&M would have against Bama.
Ha.. yeah right. If, and this is a huuugee if, A&M was undefeated headed into that game in Tuscaloosa, anyone who thinks Alabama would overlook them is a complete and total idiot.

The one I found funny was SMU. There was no talk of more talent or better coaching or anything just a simple: because we need to win all our OOC games.

I would go with we're just better than you.

No one was really in the same league as them. We were probably the closest thing to it in the country this year.

We have competed with LSU fine recently. Alabama has been our main hurdle. And then we have scenarios like 2 seasons ago where we are better than LSU, hang with Alabama (and should have beat them), but then Auburn comes out of nowhere and wins it all. The SEC West is just brutal. You'll learn that soon enough.
But to answer your question, I feel that we are on the same level or a level very close to LSU currently and Alabama is a little ahead of us. This has nothing to do with how many championships each has, or their overall record against us. I'm talking about right now, and the upcoming season. This will be the first year that Petrino completely has his system totally in place with only players he recruited, so now we truly get to see how he fares.

No, I like women and my hobbies don't include dressing up and pretending to be in the military.
