Aggies, let's say the improbable happens and Schloss departs for Austin

Would you rather take a stab at someone like Erik Bakich, Skip Johnson, Cliff Godwin, or someone similar, basically an established head coach.

Roll the dice with someone like Josh Elander?

Or maybe promote from within with Max Weiner? I know Cain was once thought of as a hot head coaching candidate but it seems as if that has chilled in recent years.

Mingione or Skip Johnson would be my top two if needed. Then someone like Bakich or Godwin possibly

Sully is underrated as well, in my opinion.

I could see Mingione fitting in well at A&M.

The only answer is to promote Max Weiner. Then hire Big Johnson as pitching coach and E. Normus Wang as hitting coach.

It’s going to be Skip Johnson.

Mingione would and should be their first call

I think GOdwin is destined for Ole Miss when Bianco retires maybe next year

ADs at established major programs are too scared these days to roll the dice hiring someone with no HC experience.

While I love the idea of keeping Max, naming a 28 year old as HC is a stretch.

Barry McCockinhim as associate head coach for good measure.

I like Max. Seems to be able to relate to the players and vice versa. Just an overall great attitude no matter what is going on.

Suddenly it doesn't seem entirely "improbable" now...hmm.

Guess we'll see.
