This may be the weirdest ending to a college baseball season I’ve ever seen.
Not one of the eight teams from last year are making it back to Omaha.
One and two overall seeds out for a second straight year.
Regional hosts dropping like flies.
Kansas, Troy, St. John’s still in like it’s March Madness.

Troy is hosting Little Rock
One will make Omaha
they will play
Cal Poly or WVU

Regional Mondays can get nuts with the thin pitching staffs. It ain’t over yet.

Last year 7 hosts didn't make it out of the regionals
Murray St, a 4 seed, made it to Omaha
Not a single team from the 2024 CWS was in the 2025 CWS
The portal/NIL is alive and well in NCAA baseball too
