LSU's inept offense was responsible for that performance.

Just like when Bama's offense was also inept it was said to be an "impressive display of defense" instead of the truth being a pathetic display of offense during 9-6.

You're right. You win. Steele sucks, LSU sucks. Orgeron and Raymond suck.

Better..??

I was shocked Chevis did not replace any coaches. We will find out soon enough if he was right.

And that discredits his capabilities at LSU how?

The ignorance you display on a daily basis is truly impressive.

Price: Solid

Hagan: Questionable, but I'll chalk that up to being a defensive tackle coach coaching linebackers

Joseph: Again, I'd like to see him coaching DBs for a DC who knows what he's doing

Alabama has a former NFL defensive coordinator as the defensive backs coach now.

So is it lack of coaching/ development or players inability to grasp the scheme that's keeping those 5-star DB's on the bench?

No judgement on the Defensive Coaching Staff yet. We will know soon.

We did love Kevin Steele when he was at Baylor.

His record over four years was 9-33 overall and 1-28 in the Big 12 Conference.

And Rod Marinelli coached the Lions to 0-16. However, he's a hell of a DC. I'm not saying this applies to Steele, but a head coaching record is not indicative of a coordinator (always).

Because if he can't stop lowly ACC teams on third down, how is he supposed to do it at LSU?

that's down right realistic

Are we allowed to use the fact that Steele has twice been fired for incompetence as a DC to judge him? Or are we just allowed to judge him based upon the great LB play at Bama over the years when he spent 1 of the last 5 years coaching LBs there?

LSU's offense went 3 and out on every possession it had in the 4th quarter. How do y'all forget that?

All you got in your bag is what ifs?. There is no answer to this question because he hasnt coached a single game at LSU yet. Logic doesnt have a strong presence with you does it?
