LSU has tremendous appeal, but A&M may have them beat this year. It would be an interesting scenario.

DS I remember you saying similar things before the Sugar Bowl made it's pick in 2010

FWIW...deservedly so. Probably the most exciting player in CFB.

Had the LSU-Arkansas game that year happened in early october we would have gone, bowls don't like taking teams coming off a loss

yeah honestly the Fiesta is going to be falling all over itself if they can get ND-SEC. They may get better ratings than a KSU-OR MNC

The sad part is the Sugar is going to end up with Louisville and so the SEC champ is going to get shafted.

btw, I don't think he wins it but if JFF does win the Heisman as a freshman, I'd be shocked if we weren't picked

besides, in this situation we'll have the head to head, unlike 2010 (should that come into play which IMO it won't except for a game that had just happened a la 2010).

Why would the BCS pass on a team like LSU who is known for bringing a massive following of fans AND tv ratings? I seriously doubt that a BCS site will pick TAMU over LSU if both were to win out the rest of their schedule (pending a FL loss of course). Especially, when LSU has the tiebreaker from beating them in College Station.

TAMU will be a big draw, but one win does not catapult you to being considered one of THE premier programs in the country. You guys are on your way, but not quite there. Besides, I'm actually looking forward to a potential TAMU vs. UT Cotton Bowl game.

thought it was the same week. Regardless, we'll likely know the outcome before it happens. I think Klein wins it if KSU runs the table.

yes, because we aren't known for bringing a massive following or tv ratings

I agree, Heisman is very tough to win as a freshman and I think Klein is actually more valuable to KSU than JFF is to A&M.

If USCe wins out then why would they be behind A&M? If they win out their schedule is just as impressive as A&M's.

Yeah it's a shame they couldn't have a tiebreaker in that case...like a head to head matchup? Dumbfrick

A&M schedule the rest of the way sucks so their BCS Avg will drop. USCe still plays a possible top 10 team.

Explain y this is so funny.

bowls don't really look at those things too much when picking teams
