You better just face the music dude. Bama ended your program 7 years ago and it won't recover for another decade 
I personally think aggies will can Sumlin after this year and they may hire someone actually worth their paycheck. Hopefully that focuses on DEFENSE.

All I know is I saw Leland McElroy run through LSU like Taco Bell through me sometime either in 92-94.
Dude was one of a never ending supply of stud backs that destroyed us every year.
Tamu was awesome until they had to play someone on their bowl then they folded like a cheap suit.

Thing is UT is more than football
So if you ruined our football program we have a lot of other things to hang the hat on unlike Bama
I still remember playing UCLA in 2011. At this time UT had 3 consecutive losses against the Bruins. For some of us it seemed like we will never beat them because they had smashed UT's noses into the ground every game before.
UT was not losing that day and by the second quarter I heard an older lady a few rows in front of me at the Rose Bowl say to her husband at least we have more than football. Pissed me off more than anything else in the world because UT has more than football but up against UCLA we do not
That is why the only university that UT respects is UCLA because they have better academics and athletics. The rest of you no mater what you want to think UT is better than you and sometimes by miles

You also have shitty basketball, underachieving baseball, dildo waving protestors, admission scandals, discrimination lawsuits, racism, inability to secure funds to upgrade facilities, and a campus incapable of expansion amongst other things.

Problem for you is the public perception of UT has already been established.
You can call Ole Miss racist because they created that public perception so when you tell African American recruits Ole Miss is racist they tend to believe it. If you tell that to a high school senior in 2017 in Texas he most likely will not believe it and if he does than he pretty much is not of UT quality

ESPN is on a campaign to destroy UT and the Big XII for financial reasons so they will not have to give money for the third tier rights. Pretty much steal something that UT owns
If you believe in capitalism and free market than you must believe UT has the right to sell their third tier rights on the open market

crazy times those were.. TX-tOSU game in Cbus 2005, buddy is Mr. Buckeye donor and sets us up at the Blackwell with the host team and gets suites for 10-15 guys. Few of us get into the hotel Friday afternoon from golfing as more are rolling in town.. Our door is wide open and I know I personally locked it last. Walk in and the tv is going and some whale is beached up on the sofa snoring. Rip the blanket back & it's Dale freaking Hansen.
