I am sure it has not changed the mind of one recruit but what it does show is how desperate A&M is becoming

Do you not understand third tier rights and capitalism

With a conference network third tier rights are bundled and sold together as a conference so lesser known programs are awarded and big programs are punished

Universities that hold onto their third tier rights can sell them on an open market like what UT did
This upsets ESPN because UT is an important and well known university and could command big money on an open market

What does ESPN do because of this?

They tried to damage UT so once the LHN contract ends UT would be forced into a conference that ESPN controls. Some of these conferences are being screwed by ESPN and even if they add UT cannot open negotiations for a new contract.

I wonder if UT starts the season perfect with a win over USC would Bama throw the game again to A&M
Knowing A&M can be controlled because they are weak minded

You see how quick the SEC comes in and circles around A&M as if they are some helpless mutt

At 34 years old I pretty much grew up in the 90's and was a witness when UT returned to dominance in Texas.
For A&M fans what year can you sit here and say for the first time you noticed a talent drop off between the two teams
I can say in the years 92-95 A&M actually had better players. I remember a player from the Panhandle William Thomas who attended A&M over UT even though I can tell you second hand knowledge of his recruitment.
This time the early 1990's and late1980's A&M was at its best.

My father was a commanding officer of an Ordnance Depot on two different Marine Air Stations including Okinawa.
He was seeing things and touching things in the 80's and 90's you still do not have the security clearance to be around.

So Les Miles who won more than any coach in LSU history did not win enough to keep his job

If you truly look at the number of hires out of UT to the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Department of Treasury, United States Intelligence Community and the Department of State you quickly see what university provides this country with public service and what university just plays soldier. Nothing wrong with 2nd Lt's. but they are pretty far down the chain of command.
