Why do you think the guy was never rehired at any real college job ever again
I had to google his name to see what became of his career and was quite shocked to see that the only university who hired him was Georgia State
This is a guy who won 20 games in two years and had Boston College #1 in the country at one time in 2007

Do you not understand third tier rights and capitalism
With a conference network third tier rights are bundled and sold together as a conference so lesser known programs are awarded and big programs are punished
Universities that hold onto their third tier rights can sell them on an open market like what UT did
This upsets ESPN because UT is an important and well known university and could command big money on an open market
What does ESPN do because of this?
They tried to damage UT so once the LHN contract ends UT would be forced into a conference that ESPN controls. Some of these conferences are being screwed by ESPN and even if they add UT cannot open negotiations for a new contract.

I have watched that game numerous times with different people. High school coaches, referees and players. We all have analyzed Saban's playcalling, How Kirby Smart blitzed and most importantly how the referees called the game
Everyone came away saying that game was staged.
How deep the lies are I do not know but what I do is that Bama attempted to give you a boost in the SEC but you can't even get your program jump started with their help.
Why again do you think 1 loss A&M was ahead of UWashington last year in the first college football playoff listing

Wasn't Slocum's offense a problem as well
I don't remember the defense being a problem until later in 2002
Nothing against Mark Farris but I remember watching those games against Pitt and Va Tech in 2002 and wondering where the creativity was.
Didn't you fire the OC right after that Pitt game then score 40 something points the next game.

For A&M fans what year can you sit here and say for the first time you noticed a talent drop off between the two teams
I can say in the years 92-95 A&M actually had better players. I remember a player from the Panhandle William Thomas who attended A&M over UT even though I can tell you second hand knowledge of his recruitment.
This time the early 1990's and late1980's A&M was at its best.

My father was a commanding officer of an Ordnance Depot on two different Marine Air Stations including Okinawa.
He was seeing things and touching things in the 80's and 90's you still do not have the security clearance to be around.

These numbers have no bearing because they come out of your head
If you are an officer in the military like you claim you are. You should have these numbers already proven by different sources.
Either you are lazy or incompetent. If you are an actual officer I see why the Army is so far behind the Navy and Marines in everything right now.

I have not been around a military base so I do know how many A&M graduates make up the ranks
I can say when I was younger I was introduced to very few A&M graduates in the USMC.

If you truly look at the number of hires out of UT to the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Department of Treasury, United States Intelligence Community and the Department of State you quickly see what university provides this country with public service and what university just plays soldier. Nothing wrong with 2nd Lt's. but they are pretty far down the chain of command.
