I've been making fun of you guys thinking you were in on the joke the whole time. What I thought was funny was really not funny to you but it was actually your fanbase's way of expressing itself.

Really, I just think you can't assume that a midnight tradition that involves making a lot of noise is going to go over well in a lot of southern towns and even places (many roll up the sidewalks at 9.00 - except for the bars and Wal*Marts and some of those who've been to the bars are gonna be at the Wal*Mart).
Say it ain't so! The SEC really isn't the hardcore football Mecca it claims to be?

You know can't say I ever emulated a retarded kid I didn't know was retarded. It was usually obvious - precisely because the way he would talk.
But if I ever need help distinguishing a retard from someone of normal cognitive ability, I'll be sure to reflect upon your little anecdote.
I'm not calling you a retard
Listen, if anyone is retarded right now, it's me. It has been a long day, and I am fricking tired.

I was looking forward to seeing the Aggie band. Haven't been able to attend a game in years. I don't think that's too crazy
More upset with the Aggie administration for not making sure there were no hitches in those plans than with Arkansas' leadership, bit that's the breaks, I guess.

Nah. Not a joke. But I'm pretty sure you knew that.
But go ahead and make fun to your heart's content;
and we'll just go on doing what we do: extending hospitality to fans, bands, mascots, etc from visiting schools--including our friends from Fayetteville--and enjoy doing so.

not exactly our finest moment.

Arkansas' administration informed aggy that they wouldn't be able to play in Fayetteville two years ago when aggy wanted to go home and home...
They can bring a pep band and Reveille (provided she stays in a cage while in the stadium) if they wanted tomorrow.

A large number of you are just ignorant assholes. Go ahead and make fun of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. Do they have some unusual traditions - yes - absolutely. However the Corps of Cadets has produced more US Military Officers than any other university in the US other than the US Service Academies. Former members of the Corps of Cadets have earned more Medal of Honors than any other University in the US. The Corps of Cadets has produced more General Officers than any other university. Go ahead, call the Corps gay if it helps you ignorant little mind feel better.
As for me: nothing could have prepared me better than Texas A&M and the Corps of Cadets to spend 25 years in the USMC in service of our country.
For those that can't understand... piss off.
