We have other business to take care of before we think about Texas.

Well - both would have to win or both would have to lose. So I’m not getting ahead of myself on that just yet.

Longhorns are finding more ways to lose nowadays than aggy.

Here’s A&M’s W/L record vs Texas since 2012:

2012: 2-1
2014: 1-2
2016: 1-0
2017: 0-1
2018: 1-1
2019: 1-0
2021: 1-0
2022: 1-0

TOTAL: 8-5

Overall, I think Texas leads 244-129. (.654)
Vs Arkansas, Texas is 76-38 (.667)

Texas vs LSU…. 25-13-1 (.654)
A&M vs LSU. 28-26-1

Totally agree. It’s a data point but has no bearing..

why respect aggy, they were in the basement just last year? They’ll be there again.

Because of the coaching change.

But seriously, I respect Melendez. He’s clearly the best player in College Baseball this year.

If we hadn’t taken significant action to change the trajectory, I would agree with you. However, assuming that things will be like the past, ignores the reality of the present.

A&M might have surprised some people this year, and you may be right about them playing above their heads, but assuming they will be, to use your words, in the basement, is just dumb.

Even for a Longhorn just talking smack.

I know I have quoted you out of context. Even still, that’s gotta be hard say for a tiger, in any context.

Congrats, you’ve evolved. You should be proud.

That’s the old tradition. The new tradition is they will claim their pitcher has the covids, they don’t have any other pitchers and they forfeit.

OU has two really good pitchers in Jake Bennett and Trevin Michael as a closer. A&M will have their hands full with those two guys. But past that OU's pitching isn't really close to CWS quality.

Behind those two guys OU could very well win. But they better because in game two they are going to get shelled.

Truth, though they did somehow make it to Omaha. Gut feeling has Dome vs Miss/Hog in the finals. Stanford keeps trying to lose before they win, Arkansas and Miss are hot at the right time. Barn can get fricked.

Texas lacks pitching but has Melendez,Aggies lack pitching but have grit. OU is peaking but Domer just feels like the one who will win that bracket.
