Miami played Indiana for the championship last year.
They played them tight too. Just a touchdown away from a NC.
Given that recent history and a strong start they should be considered a contender. Even if they don't have a great schedule.

Clemson is a very bad team. But LSU did to them what a really good team should do to a very bad team. I really came away impressed with LSU's defense. Yes, Clemson's oline looked drunk, but LSU's defense was darn impressive. Anyone not thinking LSU is a legit playoff contender is just lying. I think LSU will lose a couple maybe 3 this year. But they have a solid team.

In a few weeks they'll have played 2 top 10 teams back to back and everyone will have forgotten all about Clemson.
