I've been one of his biggest defenders but only because I didn't believe for a second Saban would take the gamble. I've never been so happy to be so wrong. Dude had good run and I'll remember him fondly but it's Tua Time now.

I doubt Jalen takes the time to read these boards. But I have been so proud of this young man and how he has handled adversity and whispers. Dude is first rate. I'm glad he plays for us

Same, I thought the issue was not having a Bama-caliber OL. Still think his running ability is up there with the best of them tbh

I agree. Captain Jack Sparrow had a nice run but its the Hawaiian kids turn despite the language barrier.

That young man is all class; love the way he handled last night.

Bama got a lot of miles out of #2 however the kid is limited as a all around QB. Daboll was catching hell for 30 minutes and then it looks pretty good as a player caller for the last 30 minutes. You don't have to be a Joe Willie at QB but you have to better in the passing game than #2. The Bama receivers body language speaks volumes about Jalen's passing skills.

I hope he can find a way to contribute regularly going forward.

Example of a athlete that was playing QB and not the other way around. Kid has talent and needs to be on the field somewhere.

Is there any chance he moves to running back or an all purpose player, kinda like play multiple positions or do people think he may transfer?
He can run his arse off and he can do it with power, face it he is not going to be a QB at the next level.

I'd really be shocked with a RB label, but becoming like a Shep ATH seems possible. Really hope for his sake that he embraces that role and doesn't transfer to try and chase dreams of being a QB

Hurts has to be the happiest man in Tuscaloosa right now. Already saddled with the tag of being the only quarterback to lose a national title game under Saban, he came within a half of being the only QB to lose two national title games under Saban. I'm guessing he was happier than Tua as the game ended.

It is amazing that Tua overcame the language barrier to lead his team to victory.

Does anybody have the link to that guy/girl's post? And was that found to be just a troll post?

I don't know. I think he might stay. He's a bright kid.If he's going to make a lot of money in football it'll prolly be as a coach, not a player.

Yep, he just doesn't seem to fit the Daboll offense at all - in addition to his limitations - but he won a lot of games the past two years and we shouldn't forget what he did in that MSU win this year.

Kid was in denial last night. Sad to see.
